Editorial policy
Editorial Standards
These standards explain how Tech Leaders Index approaches evidence, rankings, corrections and commercial independence.
Evidence first
Material ranking claims should be grounded in attributable public evidence. Preference is given to primary documentation, company disclosures, customer evidence, regulatory or public records and reputable independent reporting.
Defined methodology
Rankings use published scoring dimensions and a defined candidate universe. Editorial judgement is part of the process and is explained rather than hidden behind a claim of purely objective scoring.
Commercial independence
Advertising, sponsorship, enhanced profiles, partnerships and commercial enquiries do not purchase or guarantee ranking positions.
Conflicts and disclosure
Material relationships that could reasonably affect how a reader interprets coverage should be disclosed or managed through editorial separation.
Corrections
Credible correction requests are reviewed against evidence. Material factual errors should be corrected promptly and substantive ranking changes should be reflected transparently.
Right of reply
Where appropriate, organisations or individuals may provide clarifying evidence. A response does not guarantee a change in score or placement.
AI-assisted work
Automation or AI may assist research, organisation or drafting, but published editorial conclusions remain subject to human review and evidence standards.
